I went to ‘Lollipops at Fox’ with my father, to take my 21 month old, to play. While we were there, I saw a magazine that I had never seen before, called “Tribe” about empowering parents. It looked very interesting, so my father opened it and started reading to me some interesting questions from parents, with answers from a specialist. We really liked the answers and found them very helpful, so we took another two copies; one for my sister-in-law who is having those exact tantrum problems with her two and a half year old, and one for my sister, who also has two young children.

Then my father, who is from Melbourne said, “the name of this question and answer editor is Renee Mill”. Then he showed me the picture. I was amazed. I said, “Oh, Wow, I know her.” I hadn’t realised it was you who had written the article, till the after we had read it all and taken the extra copies!

I have worked with Renée Mill for over 8 years both in the corporate and in the practical world. Renee’s work is practical and meaningful and so easy to implement into all situations. The results are astounding and life altering. Renée gives numerous everyday situations that people can relate to; she appeals to us to continually work on ourselves as oppose to looking for solutions in others.

I so enjoyed listening to Renee’s advice and stories. I have come out feeling very positive as a parent. I learnt that you have to enjoy your kids, the difference between autonomy and independence and that we have to establish a core value system as a family.
