Group anxiety therapy accessible for all
The incidence of anxiety is increasing every year.
Here are some mental illness statistics:
- Approximately 10% of Australians will be affected by anxiety disorders at some point in their life
- Approximately 20% of people will be affected by depression
Anxiety can be effectively treated with individual therapy or group therapy. However, when a patient is suffering from acute anxiety, utilising group and individual therapy concurrently can offer sufficient support to eliminate the need for hospitalisation.
Moreover, utilising both individual and group modalities speeds up recovery as sessions are more frequent and varied. Listening to other sufferers, and motivating one another, is something that is uniquely gained from group therapy.
Group therapy has traditionally only be available to inpatients or outpatients of mental health facilities. Now that private practice has become more accessible due to Medicare rebates, it is possible to offer this type of service in a more private environment.
My CBT group anxiety course has been run many times with success. One of my associates usually runs a group once a week and, if necessary, individual sessions are help alternately to help you through thoses early weeks when you feel out of control.
There is no need to continue to suffer. My course and tools are easy and practical and, after a few sessions, you will feel the difference.
If you or some-one you know is suffering from anxiety, contact me to find out more.

Hi Renee,
wanted to have a further sesion with you….I look back on my sessions with you as quite cathartic. You gave me support, much to consider and a general feeling of self-worth.
Do you have a session available?….I would appreciate that.
